Sade Hiidenkari (b. 1965) is a contemporary visual artist dealing with conceptual art, environmental art, sculptures and videoworks. Essential to her production are the interfaces between art and science, from where one can dive deeper. Her work is always based on scientific and artistic research, and she works alongside researchers and activists.

In her works Sade Hiidenkari has been investigating and combining ecopsychology and new forest sciences. She is fascinated by the interaction and relations of undergroud forests, their co-operation and communication, which carries the lives of all the other species.
